Optics & illumination in machine vision - basics and applications

In machine vision, every detail counts: the choice of the right lens and homogeneous lighting conditions determine how an inspection object is perceived and analysed. Factors such as illumination, appropriate filters, sensor and optics have a significant impact on image quality, ensuring that all the information you want to process is included in the image and therefore the reliability of the inspection results.

Our hands-on training course not only provides you with in-depth knowledge of all the factors that need to be taken into account for stable and reproducible results, but also of the influence of lighting conditions and beam paths with optics and filters on precise inspections.
